So Mel and I celebrate one year of marriage today. Wow!  This is absolutely phenomenal!  It seems like yesterday we were walking the aisle and saying our vows.  It has been an amazing first year–a year full of new experiences, new challenges, and new lessons.  Most of all, it is a true testimony to the work of Jesus in our lives.  To take two totally imperfect people–bring them together and make them one–it is truly a miracle.  He has taught us so much during this first year, and He has shown up in a big way.  He teaches me consistently through Mel and our relationship, and I am so thankful for His Gospel that saturates our marriage and continually refines us.  I give all the praise, glory, and honor to Jesus in celebration of this first year of marriage.  It is only by Him and through Him.

Thank you Jesus! Thank you for a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman to do life with each and every day.  I am blessed beyond anything that I deserve.  Thank you!
